Late last week, Microsoft announced that Kirill Tatarinov has been selected as the new head of the troubled Microsoft Business Solutions group that produces a variety of software for small and medium businesses under the Dynamics brand.

He replaces Satya Nadella who after only six months in the job, moved on to head Microsoft’s reorganized Internet search and ad group.  Tatarinov was formerly the corporate vice president in charge of the Windows Enterprise Management Division which handled Microsoft’s system management offerings. Tami Reller, who had been acting head of MBS will move on to a new position within Microsoft in 3-6 months, while Brad Anderson will be the interim leader of the Management Division.
