We’ve already heard from Nielsen and HitWise and comScore’s US search ratings for May tell much the same story:
In May 2006, Google gained in search market share for the tenth consecutive month and maintained its status as market leader with 44.1 percent of searches conducted on its sites. Yahoo! remained in second place with 27.9 percent, while MSN ranked third with 12.9 percent.
That’s basically flat over April except for Google gaining a point from the smaller players. Longer term, everybody but Google is down from a year ago.
