Last week, Microsoft released a Community Technology Preview of Orcas, the next version of Visual Studio. Among other things, Orcas is intended to simplify development for Vista and Office 2007 and the latter is explicitly on the feature list for this CTP. However, some promised innovations like the new Sapphire Web designer will show up in later betas.
