Well, this morning’s sneak peek turned out to be a spoiler. There isn’t too much to add other than a link to the overview press release and a Q&A on Centro. One odd note was Bill Gates claiming Office 12 would ship in early 2006.

[...] At ENT News (link via bink.nu), Stuart J. Johnston reports that Microsoft has started a restricted beta of Centro, the mid-market server offering announced in September, and a limited community technology preview (CTP) of the next version of Small Business Server, codenamed Cougar. Both are due out in 2008 which is later than the 2007 date anticipated in our previous mention of Cougar. Since both are based on Longhorn, it has to be completed first before they can put together the final packages.
