Office 2007 Beta refresh next week

Posted by David Hunter at 9:16 AM ET.

That’s the buzz from Joris Evers at CNET:

Microsoft plans to ship a new preview release of Office 2007 next week, a company representative said Wednesday.

The updated beta changes to the user interface, bug fixes and other changes to make it more stable.

The beta refresh will be available only to the about 10,000 participants in a private testing program.

The last beta release was in November and it was also a restricted beta released to a limited set of testers.
